Dan Maldoom

One of the UK's top economists on "What do economists do?"


Dan co-founded DotEcon in 1999. He provides advice to companies and public sector bodies worldwide in competition and litigation cases, regulatory consultations and on public policy issues such as spectrum licensing.

He has particular expertise in quantitative economics, game theory and economic modelling, and has published widely on these subjects.

Dan has many years of experience both as an academic economist at the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge and as a business consultant at economic consultancy London Economics. He has a DPhil in Economics from Nuffield College, Oxford.
